API error type
Payload too large
HTTP 413 https://errors.driftstack.dev/payload-too-large
What it means
The request is too large for where it has to go, and nothing was sent there. Either the request body is over the endpoint’s size limit, or a file or cookie jar is larger than your session takes at once — each session reports its own limit, usually well under the endpoint’s. When the session is the limit, the body carries limit_bytes (the most that fits) and size_bytes (what you sent).
How to fix it
Send less: a smaller file or cookie jar. Before an upload, check the file against the session’s upload_max_file_bytes (GET /v1/agent-sessions/{id}), which is that session’s exact limit.
Where it appears
In the type field of the RFC 9457 application/problem+json error body, alongside title, status, detail, and an instance correlation id.
